About this Project

This particular job was one where the customer was a DIYer, and although I give him all the credit in the world for trying, this system was a huge mess.

The furnace was way oversized and the ductwork was very undersized. All of the supply-air runs were run in flex-run, which is not up to code. We were very excited to finally get to renovate this very messy and unsafe duct system.

The customer also wanted the furnace moved to the other side of a beam so that they could have more room when they were ready to finish the basement.

We started by coming up with the best way to move the system and add the correct size ductwork for the house. We also removed every supply-air and return-air run in the entire house and replaced it with the correct size rigid round duct.

In the end, this one turned out beautiful! The customers were more than satisfied with the job and more importantly, we added another lifelong customer to the list.
